Bicton One Day Event

The Course:  Bicton Arena can survive almost all weather conditions. The fences have been re-developed over the 2004 and 2005 events.

All the courses were designed to maintain the flow as much as possible.  The terrain is unavoidably hilly and all the courses are designed bearing in mind the fact that this is an early-season run. 

For Pre Novices and Novices the courses are designed with plenty of variation of fences and are built to encourage the early season Novice Eventer. 
The Intermediate track uses some of the Advanced fences, which is unavoidable due to cost, but the track is a confidence-builder. 
The Advanced is a pre-Badminton warm-up at a minimum distance and, again, a confidence-builder for Intermediate horses shortly to upgrade and young Advanced horses at the start of the season.
